My card is lost or stolen – what can I do?

Spree don’t replace lost or stolen products, however you can always replace your book or card by ordering online through our shopping section.

I can’t login to my account.

First, try to login to your account using your email address in the username field. In most cases this will resolve your issue.

If you still can’t access your account, you can access your account by entering your email address and clicking the “Get New Password” button on the form on the accounts page.

Can I buy a book from you in person?

You can buy a book in person from us at either of our office locations:

  • Spree Publicaitons Limited, 2 Taverners Square, Norwich, NR3 4SY (call 0845 1668 031)

How do I recommend a friend?

When you recommend a friend you’ll get 5 free vouchers of your choice from the Spreebook in your area, excluding Norwich. You may choose from a maximum of 2 vouchers per merchant from any section except for the glossy Fine Dine/Featured.

How do I register my book?

To register you book, please visit our card activation and registration page where all you need to do is simply complete the form to register your card.

Your Spreebook

When does my book expire?

Your 2011-12 Spreebook will expire on 1st October 2012, and the 2012-13 Spreebook on 1st October 2013.

How does my Spreebook work?

Present your voucher to the merchant along with your membership card prior to ordering and receiving your bill to receive your discount.

Please be aware of all restrictions by reading the Spreebook’s standard Terms and Conditions which can be found at the back of your Spreebook. Please note the glossy Fine Dining/Featured sections are governed through the Terms and Conditions found at the beginning of that section in addition to the standard Terms and Conditions.

What does the Up To Value mean on my voucher?

The “Up to Value” on each voucher is the price limit to which your discount can be.

For example a voucher that states Up To Value £10.95 means your free item can be up to and including £10.95. Please note that it is always the least expensive item to be deducted. If you have two items under £10.95 it will be the lesser of these two that is deducted.

Why does my Membership Card have boxes on the back?

Each Fine Dining Restaurant has a unique reference number corresponding to the numbers on the back of your Membership Card. Once you have enjoyed your offer, the Fine Dining restaurant will cross off the relevant number.

Some restaurants may choose not to remove their number from the back of your Card allowing repeated use and some may punch a hole in your card rather than use a marker pen.

Please note as the membership card is generic for all Spree regions, not every number on the reverse of the card will be applicable to your book.

Why do I have to register my book?

You’ll need to register your book so you can access our special Spree offers and to enable your access to our Voucherspree mobile applicaiton for Android and Apple devices. Registering means you’ll always be notified of Spree updates as soon as they happen, so you can find out first what’s happening at Spree!

I can’t register my book – what can I do?

Our Spree Registrations Team is on hand to register your book should you be unable to do so or have no access to the internet. You can contact the team on 0845 1662 987 or use our Contact Us form to send us your details.

When registering my book, it says I’ve missed something.

When you register you’ll need to complete all the parts of the form marked with a star. If you find you can’t register despite having completed all the fields correctly, please contact our Registrations Team on 0845 1662 987 or get in contact using our Contact Us page.

Do I have to book with merchants in advance?

With the exception of the Fine Dining/Featured section, each merchant will specifically state on the front of their voucher if they require you book in advance and/or quote Spree.

With the glossy Fine Dining/Featured sections you must always book in advance quoting Spree. When ordering again you must also let the merchant know you are using your Spreebook.

Can I have an additional card?

Yes! You can purchase an additional card through our online shop and this can be given to a family member so they can take advantage of your Spreebook.

General Terms and Conditions.

Please read the terms and conditions of your Spreebook carefully before use (these are found on the inside back cover).

Rules of Use:
Always present your membership card to the business when redeeming the desired voucher.

Bank Holidays are excluded, even if the offer reads ‘Valid Anytime’. Christmas Eve / Day, New Year’s Eve / Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter Day and Valentine’s Day are all excluded.

When dining, the restaurant will deduct the least expensive main course or menu item up to the maximum value (NOTE the free meal must be less or equal to the up to value).

Please present your Spree voucher prior to requesting the bill (child’s main course is not considered deductable unless otherwise stated on the voucher).

Vouchers are not valid on festive menus. Vouchers are not to be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers. When dining in groups (of up to six people), a maximum of three vouchers is allowable (unless otherwise stated on the voucher). No separate bills.

Establishments: Spree Publications has a legal agreement with every business listed in the Spree book. Spree Publications is not responsible for the failure of a business to honour its vouchers, whether due to a change of ownership, closure or any other circumstances. Liability: Spree Publications assumes no responsibility for any acts beyond its control including but not limited to fire, casualities, strikes, omissions, printing errors or any other events

Spree Publications offers a full refund guarantee on the Spree book, valid for up to 10 days from the date of purchase. Refunds will only be given on complete and undamaged books.

Terms and Conditions of the Fine Dining Section.

How it works:

1. Reserve your table quoting Spree.
2. Present your membership card when PLACING your order.
3. Hand over the membership card PRIOR to requesting your bill (to be voided).
4. The restaurant will redeem your offer.

Unless otherwise stated, when dining in groups only one discount is acceptable per reservation. All other Spree terms and conditions apply.

Orders

How and where can I buy a book?

You can buy a book online through our shopping section or by contacting our dedicated orders team on 0845 1662 987. During August and September of each year you can also help raise funds for the local community by purchasing the book from various schools groups and charity causes in your area. For every book a fundraiser sells they make a minimum of £5.00!

Why am I paying for postage and packaging?

Spree Publications adds on a postage and packing charge as Royal Mail charges us for every book we post and we need to account for the use of packing materials and the time taken to process orders.

Don’t forget you can always collect a book from either of our Aberdeen or Norwich offices and you wont have to pay a penny in postage and packaging charges.

How long will it take for my book to arrive?

Spree Publications aims to process all orders placed before noon on the same day. All orders are sent standard first class through Royal Mail. Please allow between 3-5 working days for delivery.

Can I buy more than one book?

You can order as many Spree books as you like!

When priced at the full RRP, if you order five books we will give you a sixth one free. Why not buy one as a gift and take advantage of our Recommend a Friend programme.

Can I return my Spreebook and get a refund?

Spree Publications Ltd offers a full refund guarantee on the Spree book valid for up to 10 days from the date of purchase. Refunds will only be given on complete and undamaged books.

My card isn’t accepted on your website.

Our website accepts most cards with the exception of American Express.

If you find your card isn’t accepted you can order over the phone by calling 0845 1662 987. We accept all payments (including Maestro) through telephone ordering with the exception of Solo and American Express.

Your Account

How does Spree use my registered information?

Spree maintains its own customer database with the information provided by our customers purely for customer service. We do not pass this information on to third parties. You will only receive our up-to-date news and offers.

How do I change my billing or shipping address?

To change your address, you must first log in to your Spreebook.com account.

Select the “My Account” tab from the navigation bar, then from your account dashboard select “Profile” and “Edit my Information”. You’ll now be able to edit your address.

How do I change my email address?

To change your address, you must first log in to your Spreebook.com account.

Select the “My Account” tab from the navigation bar, then from your account dashboard select “Profile” and “Edit my Information”. You’ll now be able to edit your email address.

How do I change my password?

To change your address, you must first log in to your Spreebook.com account.

Select the “My Account” tab from the navigation bar, then from your account dashboard select “Profile” and “Change Password”. You’ll now be able to edit your email address.

I’ve not received the password reset email I requested.

If you haven’t recieved your email with your password after 24 hours, please check your junk mail settings and note enquiries@spreebook.com as a safe sender to ensure you do receive our emails.

How do I sign up for an account?

To sign up for an account simply visit our account registration page. Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll be sent your new password through email to use when logging in at Spreebook.com

If you don’t receive your password email, please check your junk mail settings and note enquiries@spreebook.com as a safe sender to ensure you do receive our emails.

Who can fundraise?

Anyone! If you are looking to raise funds for your school, group, a charity or even your work’s social committee, then Spree can help you!

How do I fundraise?

Fundraising with Spree is, well Spreasy! The books are delivered to you for your sale which takes place over three weeks. Once your sale has ended, a member of the Spree team will collect any unsold books and collect monies for the sold books. There is no cash outlay and you only pay for what you sell, making fundraising with Spree a risk free way to raise funds!

Who can advertise?

Anyone!  If you are a large national company or a one man band Spree can help you advertise your business – and no money is exchanged between you and Spree.  As long as the offer meets the guidelines of Spree then we’re happy to advertise your business for you.  For more information, please contact the Merchant Sales team on 0845 1662 987.
